Gary's 9 month pictures

These are Gary's pictures from last week. I think they turned out cute.

My New Hobbie

So the pictures are okay but the eggs are really cool. I had made these type of eggs in high school with a friend. Then about 2 weeks ago I left out 5 dozen eggs and ruined them. So what do you do with 5 dozen eggs. I looked up and bought my Ukrainian Easter egg kit. These are the ones I have made in the last few days. I love to make them. It takes about an 45 min to an hour to dye and mark each one. The more colors the longer it takes. I am getting a head start on Christmas gifts for next year.

Saturday Fun

Saturday was our neighbors birthday party at Pump It Up in Ventura. The kids had a blast. Dirk was called into work at the begining of the party but made it back for cake and ice cream.

All about the KIDS!

So the kids are very active lately. They went back to school last week and it has been non stop action every since. Emma got a play dough machine from some friends of ours, she loves it, and likes to "eat" the ice cream cones!

Gary has really gotten into feeding himself. As you can see some lands in his hair, shirt, pants, everywhere. But hey he is having lots of fun learning how to eat. You can't eat in front of him without sharing. He will scream at you if you try!

I finally got out our bouncy seat. He loves it.

So it was in the 80's here the last few days and so the kids went swimming!
Isaac our neighbor went with them.

Emma in the pool. She was asleep when I took the first picture so she got her own done.


After they went swimming they all had to have a bath. Gary loves the water. Yeah I know they need to bathe seperately but it is so much easier to do it all at once.

Gary turn 9 months yesterday. This is a picture of him having dinner. He has 6 teeth and is always happy! He had his pictures done also but that will have to be the next post!

Alexandria learned to ride her bike without training wheels today! I know that 7 is older than a lot of kids who can already ride, but we don't ride very often so the kids haven't learned. They never seem to want to ride, they always ride scooters or play outback. We are very proud of her. She learned in less than an hour! She is on a small bike then she doesn't have as far to fall.

Update

So things have not slowed down. Gary had another ear infection and will have tubes put in in a few months. Gary can sit up finally and pulls himself up on everything. School has started again. Alex thinks that her world is falling apart. Everything is drama with her. We still haven't got the ATV working yet. We are waiting to hear from the guy. Emma threw up in the cat again! I am so done with all the issues with my kids. Life is as busy as ever. I don't even have pictures from the last 2 weeks.

We did have some friends over last friday and so that was fun. They rode the horse, and had lots of fun on the trampoline. I hope things get back to normal soon. With the kids back in school we can get back on a routine.
